Are you technically minded and do you enjoy working with your hands? As an Assembly Technician, you will work on special effects machines used at major festivals, international shows and sporting events. You will assemble components, connect wiring and check whether each machine works correctly. You will work on equipment such as confetti shooters, CO₂ jets and flame machines. You will earn a gross monthly salary between €2,600 and €3,400 and work a day shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

What you'll do

As an Assembly Technician, you will build complete special effects machines. Using technical drawings, you will assemble various mechanical and electronic components. You will connect electrical components and wiring harnesses and solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards.

Once the machine has been fully assembled, you will test and inspect it to ensure everything works correctly. Where necessary, you will adjust individual components. You work accurately because the machines must operate safely and reliably during major events and shows.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assembling and mounting machines
  • Working from technical drawings
  • Connecting electrical components and wiring harnesses
  • Soldering electronic components onto printed circuit boards
  • Assembling small and precise mechanical components
  • Testing, inspecting and adjusting complete machines
  • Contributing ideas for improvements to products and working methods

In addition:

  • You have experience with assembly, wiring or soldering, or you are willing to learn
  • You enjoy working with your hands
  • You can work accurately with small components
  • You can read technical drawings or are willing to learn
  • You have a good command of Dutch and/or English
